Abstract Furniture by ilco.
The three of us met at Central Saint Martins during our BA in Product Design. Madeleine Duflot and Koa Pham founded ilco in May 2017 and I joined the team in August.
Into-form is not a chair, not a sofa, not a daybed, not an armchair… It is none but all at the same time! Five shapes are at the disposal of the user who has the freedom to join them together depending on their needs. Once arranged, we are looking at an ephemeral and functional sculpture. The project was exhibited at SaloneSatellite in Milan and London Design Fair in 2018. It was acquired by Koibird, a designer clothing store based in London. The images courtesy of Koibird and ilco.
